Let’s light up Hunters Point South on one of the shortest days of the year! Winter solstice is celebrated in many cultures by setting up festive lights.
Join Hunters Point Parks Conservancy and local artist Leonie Wunderlich for the second annual lantern making workshop on Saturday, 12/22 at 4pm, followed by a lantern parade towards the waterfront by 5:15pm. All materials are provided at this free and family friendly event. Everyone is welcome, recommended age for lantern building is 3yrs/+
We will gather for lantern making in the media room at the Power House Building at 2-17 51st Ave.
