Your Support Makes the Difference
The Hunters Point Parks Conservancy works to improve the quality of life in Long Island City by sustaining and beautifying our waterfront parks, serving as a community hub, and providing diverse and inclusive free programming for all.
In 2019, we held 174 free events attended by over 16,000 people. In 2020 we held 100 free virtual Zoom events attended by 3,500 people and held 56 volunteer days in the parks. We also contributed to necessary park improvement projects, such as the purchase of 7 Bigbelly trash cans, tree guards, replacement trees and plants, and more.
This work is not possible without the support of our neighbors and friends. Donate to the Conservancy today and help make the parks more fun for all!
Hunters Point Parks Conservancy is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and all contributions are fully tax-deductible.
Individual Donations
This is YOUR waterfront and we need your help to continue to preserve and enhance it. All donations, large and small, are immensely appreciated and go directly towards our programs and maintenance efforts.
Individuals who donate $100 or more will be listed in the organization’s annual report.
Adopt A Bench
Did you know? There are over 200 benches in Hunter's Point South Park that can be adopted as part of the NYC Parks Adopt-a-Bench program! The price for adopting a bench in the park is $2,500 and money will go directly towards maintenance efforts in Hunter's Point South Park via the Hunters Point Parks Conservancy.
