City of Water Day is a region-wide day organized by Waterfront Alliance and New York–New Jersey Harbor & Estuary Program (HEP), to champion a climate-resilient New York and New Jersey harbor.
The Newtown Creek Alliance, Hunters Point Parks Conservancy, and the North Brooklyn Community Boathouse will be hosting our event at the Queens Landing Boathouse. We will also be joined by the Billion Oyster Project! Stop by their table to learn how we’re restoring one billion oysters to New York Harbor with the help of one million people.
This will be a wonderful day to get out on the water with free walk-up kayaking, live animals in touch tanks, crafts, microscopes, and water quality activity stations.
Join us on Saturday, July 12th from 12:00PM - 4:00PM!
You can register for this on our Eventbrite.
