Hunters Point Parks Conservancy staff will lead a volunteer riprap cleanup, talking about the role of riprap versus bulkheads for resilience, the impact of plastic waste on our waterways, and they type of trash we’re seeing. We will meet to start cleaning up the rip-rap at 6PM and meet at the Oval in Hunter’s Point South Park (at the intersection of Borden Ave and Center Blvd).
